He worked as an independent contractor for about a year, gaining valuable experience in the field before starting his firm. He is one of the few attorneys in the state licensed to defend first-degree murder cases.

Mr. Cueto has been in the legal field since 2009 and extends his services to the Onalaska community. He held a membership in the Veterans Court Committee and managed a moot court team at Luther High School. He speaks frequently on topics related to landlord-tenant law and was a speaker at the annual Wisconsin Apartment Association Conferences. He serves as the elected chairperson for the Civil Rights and Liberties Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
