Colin M. Simpson

A shareholder attorney at Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., Colin M. Simpson is a legal practitioner admitted to represent individuals before the honorable courts in Wyoming since 1986 and the Supreme Court of the United States. The firm has multiple offices spread across several states, and he heads the one in Cody, Wyoming. Largely focusing his practice on personal injury and wrongful death law, he assists injured people and their families and provides comprehensive legal support across various areas of personal injury and wrongful death law.

From premises liability, product liability, spinal cord injuries, and dog bites, to construction accidents, oil and gas injuries, explosion injuries and carbon monoxide poisoning, Mr. Simpson diligently advocates for those affected by these incidents.  Mr. Simpson is a Trial Lawyer and also helps people with commercial and business litigation, business formation, land use planning and real estate law.

Mr. Simpson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado College in 1982. He further continued his educational pursuits at the University of Wyoming College of Law and obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1985.

Dedicated not only to his legal practice but also to making an impact on society, Mr. Simpson engages himself in various other endeavors. He is a Past President of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and former Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives.  He advocates for strong community mental health services and is a Vice Chair of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and a member of the American Bar Association and the Park County Bar Association.
