Attorney Profile

As shareholder and attorney of Goldman & Zwillinger PLLC, Scott Zwillinger is committed to representing clients in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona, as well as their surrounding areas. He focuses his practice on cases that include the following matters: complex business and commercial law involving transactions and litigation, serious accidents and injuries, wrongful death, civil rights and tort claims.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from The City University of New York in 1995, where he graduated cum laude, Mr. Zwillinger went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1998. He then served as a law clerk to Judge Mary H. Murguia, who presently sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Mr. Zwillinger has more than 17 years of experience representing a variety of clients, including financial institutions, real estate companies and licensed individuals. He represented an attorney who was accused of unethical behavior while serving with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, and the case is considered the most difficult matter in U.S. history that involves attorney discipline. Additionally, Mr. Zwillinger has developed expertise in the governance of closely held corporations, as well as claims brought under the Federal Civil Rights Act and the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Zwillinger is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. He has also served as a judge pro tempore of the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County. When not serving his private clients, Mr. Zwillinger is committed to volunteering his time and skills, helping indigent individuals facing foreclosure through the Community Legal Services, Inc. Volunteer Lawyers Program.
