Mr. Morten was born in South Africa and relocated to California with his parents at age 11. He completed his Bachelor of Science in economics at The University of Arizona before attending the Chapman University School of Law on a dean's scholarship. After graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2006, Mr. Morten continued at the school to complete his LL.M in taxation in 2007.
Since completing his legal education, Mr. Morten has built on the experience he gained as an associate attorney working on complex corporate transactions, his work as a business litigation attorney, and his experience working as an associate general counsel for a multinational company with more than $2.5 billion in annual revenues.
