Brendan Gilbert is a partner at Taylor & Ring who handles cases involving the sexual abuse of minors, sexual assault and harassment, products liability, and complex personal injury actions with catastrophic injuries. Mr. Gilbert has been the handling attorney on numerous cases that have resulted in eight-figure and seven-figure settlements as a result of his aggressive and persistent style of litigating cases. He has also second chaired multiple personal injury trials to verdict, including a seven-figure verdict, and was lead counsel on an arbitration that resulted in a seven-figure award.
Mr. Gilbert obtained his Juris Doctorate and a Certificate in the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for Excellence in the course Remedies. Prior to law school, he graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology: Law and Society.

- Obtained a record $10 million settlement against Lucia Mar School District brought on behalf of a then 9-year-old special needs girl who was repeatedly sexually abused by the District’s bus driver, all of which was caught on tape. , 2022

- Obtained a $3.5 million settlement on behalf of a minor with special needs who was molested by his male bus aide. The case was settled during jury selection after Brendan got the Court to order that liability would be established because LAUSD hid documents during litigation., 2023
- Obtained a global amount of $6.79 million in settlements on behalf of three plaintiffs with learning disabilities who were sexually harassed and assaulted by their math teacher. This case was settled during jury selection against LAUSD., 2024
