Sonya Ostovar

Sonya Ostovar is an attorney with the Taylor & Ring law firm, which has law offices in Manhattan Beach and Los Angeles, California. From her efforts, she secured a settlement of $8 million for a teen who was abused by her coach, and she was instrumental in helping to obtain a settlement of more than $46 million on behalf of a class of sexual abuse victims against the City of Santa Monica.

A 2011 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Ostovar attended Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2015. While there, she received a certificate of dispute resolution, and she served as symposium editor for the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal. She was also a member of the Women's Legal Association and the Criminal Law Society.
