Tessa King

Attorney Tessa King is a partner with the Law Offices of Reisner & King LLP in Sherman Oaks, California. Serving clients throughout the San Fernando Valley region and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles, Ms. King devotes her practice exclusively to employment law and personal injury law.

Over the course of her career, Ms. King has achieved notable success advocating on behalf of employees who experienced an injustice at work as well as those who suffered an injury or loss caused by someone else's negligence or wrongdoing. She has extensive experience handling cases involving pregnancy discrimination and issues associated with pregnancy disability leave, along with wage disputes, overtime violations and other related matters.

A graduate of Pepperdine University, Ms. King attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2007. While pursuing her legal degree, she was vice president for the school's day student body as well as a member of the trial advocacy honors program. In addition, she was selected as student liaison for the litigation council section of the American Bar Association, and she served as 9th Circuit lieutenant governor for the American Student Bar Association.

After graduating from law school, Ms. King received her license to practice from The State Bar of California, and she can also legally practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Active in her legal community, she is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the West Valley Employment Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and she maintains close ties to her alma mater as a member of the Southwestern San Fernando Valley Alumni Chapter.
