Details
Steven Feder is an attorney and the managing partner of Feder Law Firm in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Feder handles a wide variety of cases in the areas of business and criminal law, with a particular focus on business litigation in the cannabis industry. He serves clients in the Denver metropolitan region and throughout Colorado.
Mr. Feder has more than 30 years of experience litigating matters at the state, federal and appellate levels. Over the course of his career, he has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his civil clients and has served as lead counsel in hundreds of jury trials.
Mr. Feder has received recognition for his success in the legal profession, including attaining an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and being named one of the “top attorneys in Colorado” by 5280 magazine. In addition to his practice, he has served as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority panel chair and lectured on the topic of class action lawsuits.
Mr. Feder is admitted to practice in Colorado and Illinois and before federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the District of Colorado and Connecticut, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 10th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States. He served in various roles before opening his firm, including deputy district attorney at district attorney’s office for the 18th Judicial District.
Active in the legal community, Mr. Feder is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Criminal Justice Act. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University and received his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School.
