Lauren M. Knapp

Lauren M. Knapp is a tenacious trial attorney based at Dan Caplis Law in Greenwood Village, Colorado, who has forged her reputation through compassionate advocacy and strategic courtroom prowess. Additionally, Ms. Knapp holds a B.A. in history with a minor in political science from the University of Colorado Boulder – where she graduated magna cum laude and spent four years as a Division I cheerleader, honing the teamwork and leadership that now fuel her legal practice.

Before entering private practice, Ms. Knapp served as a deputy district attorney in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District. There, she prosecuted a wide spectrum of offenses – from traffic violations and misdemeanors to serious felonies – and devoted herself to the Special Victims Unit, where she handled sensitive cases involving sexual abuse, child abuse and homicide. Her work on behalf of children and at-risk adults underscores her unwavering commitment to justice for society’s most vulnerable.
