Attorney Kimberly Moreno, a Massachusetts native, is a managing attorney at Moreno Family Law, LLC, in Parker, Colorado. Her passion for law was driven by a desire to provide individuals a voice within the legal system, particularly in navigating family law matters to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes.
Ms. Moreno embarked on her legal journey with a B.A. in psychology from Simmons University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. Her honors and awards include the Meg Connolly Most Valuable Partner Award in October 2018 and being featured as a Spotlight Attorney in the Volunteer Lawyers Project spring newsletter in April 2019 in Massachusetts.
After law school, Ms. Moreno began her career at DOVE, Inc., a multidisciplinary domestic violence organization. As an attorney there, she handled cases involving high-conflict custody, child support, parenting time disputes, contempt hearings and removal cases. This experience cemented her resolve to focus on family law, leading to her subsequent role at another law firm in Boston, where she managed more complex cases involving asset division and discovery disputes.
Seeking new horizons, Ms. Moreno relocated to Colorado, where she continued to hone her legal acumen in family law at several firms. Her dedication to family law culminated in the founding of her own family law firm, where she continues to advocate zealously for her clients. Her approach involves a deep understanding of her clients' goals, providing them with comprehensive options and potential outcomes for their cases.
Ms. Moreno is not only committed to her profession but also to her community. Her professional affiliations include memberships in The Colorado Bar, and she is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Colorado.
