Our client, a 44 year old woman was walking to her job across a crosswalk on US 19. A pinellas county owned shcool bus struck her and rolled over her with its rear wheels. The client had a white corssing signal before she entered the crosswalk, giving her right of way at the intersection. Mr. Roman successfully presented a claims bills to the Florida State Legislature in order to obtain the $3 million dollar judgment. He argued in front of a special committee in Tallahassee during the 2023 legislative session. There was not a dry eye in the house.
