    A 1974 high honors graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, Mr. Borgognoni began his legal career in 1978 after obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his license to practice from The Florida Bar. While pursuing his legal degree, he served as executive editor of the Florida Law Review as well as a legal research and writing instructor.

    Mr. Borgognoni is admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also an active member of The Florida Bar, where he has served as chair or vice chair of a number of the organization's committees. He has also held several leadership roles within the Dade County Bar Association, including chair of its Civil Courts Committee and director and treasurer of its Young Lawyers Section.

    Mr. Borgognoni is also active with various civic and charitable organizations in his local community, and he routinely conducts lectures and seminars across his region on a variety of legal topics.
