    • Florida personal injury lawyer Bill Ruffier discusses recovering damages for pain and suffering as the result of a car accident in Florida. When it comes to a personal injury case involving an automobile accident, Florida is a no-fault state. What this means is that your insurance pays out up to $10,000 on your loss wages and medical bills no matter if you are at fault or the other party. Because of that, you are unable to recover damages for reasons such as pain, suffering, humiliation, or disability unless you suffered a permanent injury.
