As a former board of directors member of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce, Mr. McLaughlin is currently involved in the Aurora, Oswego and Naperville chambers of commerce, and the DuPage County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus #15119 where he served as a past-Grand Knight.
Mr. McLaughlin is a regular speaker for professional and business audiences throughout Illinois and has given presentations on asset protection for physicians, business succession planning, franchise law, best practices for hiring and firing, and trademark litigation. He has presented to organizations such as the Aurora and Oswego Chambers of Commerce, Rush Copley Hospital, the Advocate Charitable Foundation, and DuPage County Bar Association.
