Chiquita Hall-Jackson

The founder of Hall Jackson and Associates P.C. in Chicago, Illinois, Chiquita Hall-Jackson is an employment law attorney serving clients in the surrounding areas. She assists them with legal matters involving the following:

Fighting to eliminate workplace injustice and discrimination, Ms. Hall-Jackson is a fierce advocate for marginalized employees. She is a champion for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and has represented several employees over the years, helping them with all areas of employment law including getting their rightful promotions and negotiating severance agreements.

Ms. Hall-Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public law, with a minor in communication studies from Northern Illinois University and she received her Juris Doctor from the Southern University Law Center. During law school, she served as a law clinic extern and went abroad to study international criminal law and constitutional law. She also served as a mediator at the Louisiana Attorney General’s office and as a law clerk at the Cook County State Attorney’s office.

Earning her law degree in 2013, Ms. Hall-Jackson gained her license to practice in Illinois the same year, and later, she was allowed to appear before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois. She holds certificates for courses in diversity and inclusion, and women’s entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Recognized for her professionalism and legal acumen, she has a “Good” rating on Avvo. 

Active in her community and legal circle, Ms. Hall-Jackson is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. Her spare time is spent volunteering at Whatever It Takes Scholars, LLC, her nonprofit that is aimed at educating youth on their legal rights. She is also a part of the First Baptist Church of University Park’s Prison Ministry and the International Association of Women.
