Collin J. Gill

Collin J. Gill is an associate attorney at Corboy & Demetrio located in Chicago, Illinois. He is passionate about standing up for people whose lives have been impacted by injustice. He focuses his practice on representing victims of personal injury, including cases involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, and vehicular negligence.

Mr. Gill understands how overwhelming the legal system can feel and works closely with clients to make sure they feel supported at each step. His approach is grounded in listening, clear communication and unwavering advocacy. Having clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Cushing in the Cook County Circuit Court, he gained firsthand insight into how cases are evaluated by judges. He later handled federal civil rights litigation, giving him valuable trial experience and a strong foundation for representing individuals facing serious challenges. He also has experience in civil litigation involving wrongful convictions, police misconduct and malicious prosecution.

While attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Mr. Gill consistently earned academic honors, including dean’s list recognition and the Thomas More Scholarship. He was also awarded for leadership and service, reflecting his deep commitment to using the law to help others. Through Loyola’s Community Law Center Clinic, he served as a guardian ad litem, advocating for children and families in need.

Mr. Gill’s education began at Creighton University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in economics, cum laude, and a Master of Finance before pursuing law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Gill remains committed to service. He tutors children through the Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth Program, has volunteered in Costa Rica with Asociación Proyecto Emanuel and supported pro bono legal aid with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Clients can count on him for both strong legal representation and genuine care for their well-being.
