With over 30 years of legal and mediation experience, Sandra provides exceptional counsel and support to clients facing the life-transition of separation and divorce.

A 1984 graduate of DePaul University, Sandra obtained her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School (now UIC Law School) in 1989. She has been practicing mediation since 1994. She was among the first attorneys to be trained in the interdisciplinary model of Collaborative Law Practice in Illinois in 2002, and help establish the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois which is dedicated to helping divorcing families restructure amicably. A leader in the legal community, Sandra sits on the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), is a past President of the Illinois Bar Foundation, and is a Fellow in the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Illinois. In 2024 she received the ISBA Richard H. Teas Legislative Support Award for her work on the passage of the Illinois Collaborative Process Act (750 ILCS 90/1 et. seq.) and is a past recipient of the ISBA Matthew Maloney Tradition of Excellence Award.
