Diane Feuerherd

An appellate and trial attorney at the Miller, Miller & Canby law firm in Rockville, Maryland, Diane Feuerherd serves clients in the surrounding regions, including Washington and Montgomery County. Her practice areas are primarily focused on:

Ms. Feuerherd assists a diverse clientele ranging from large corporations and small businesses to families and individuals, representing them in various litigation and appeal matters, as well as in jury and bench trials before the state and federal courts of Maryland. She also has prior courtroom experience from serving a two-term appellate clerkship with the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia of the Maryland Court of Appeals.

A Montgomery County native, Ms. Feuerherd obtained her B.S. in international business from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. She then graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2011. While there, she was the production editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and a Law Achievement Scholar. She was also a part of the Civil Advocacy Clinic, the Thomas Tang Moot Court Team, the Heuisler Honor Society and recipient of the Book Award for Professional Responsibility.

Admitted to practice in Maryland since 2011, Ms. Feuerherd is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd and 4th Circuits, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Recognized by the legal community for her successful track record and fierce advocacy, she has been added to the Best Lawyers’ Ones to Watch list and she has been honored with the VIP Award by The Daily Record. Moreover, she has a “Good” rating on Avvo. 

Maintaining professional affiliations with several prominent legal associations, Ms. Feuerherd is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), the Bar Association of Montgomery County and the Owners’ Counsel of America. Furthermore, she is a board member of the Maryland Bar Foundation and a barrister at The Montgomery American Inn of Court. She also serves as the blog manager for MSBA’s Maryland Appellate Blog and is a contributing author to the treatise ‘Appellate Practice for the Maryland Lawyer: State and Federal.’
