    A highly regarded criminal defense attorney, Patricia A. DeJuneas is a co-founder of Sibbison & Dejuneas. With offices in Boston and Greenfield, she represents at both the trial and appellate level clients throughout Massachusetts who have been charged with state or federal misdemeanors and felonies. The types of offenses that Ms. DeJuneas has defended against have included murder, rape and other violent crimes, armed robbery, arson, extortion, money laundering, drug possession and distribution, charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act, sex crimes, and driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Ms. DeJuneas has also served as defense co-counsel in a number of high profile trials.

    Ms. DeJuneas attended Sacred Heart University as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Science in 1993. She then went on to pursue her legal education at the University of Connecticut School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor with high honors in 1996. While in law school, she clerked for a judge on the state of Connecticut Appellate Court. After graduation, Ms. DeJuneas was an honors attorney with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, part of the U.S. Department of Justice, and she then clerked for a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut before entering private practice. Admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

    Ms. DeJuneas is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She donates her time and services to the New England Innocence Project, an organization that provides pro bono legal representation to people who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes.
