Will Kemp

A founding partner of Kemp Jones, LLP, Will Kemp has more than four decades of experience representing clients in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Kemp focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial matters, catastrophic injuries, fire litigation and product defects, and he is recognized as one of the leading litigators in the U.S. in multidistrict litigation and product liability cases.

Mr. Kemp graduated with his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1975. He then pursued his legal education at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois and The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1978. He was subsequently admitted to practice law before all of the state courts of Nevada, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kemp has distinguished himself as a highly skilled and ethical attorney. He has earned numerous awards and honors. Mr. Kemp is rated as AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest peer reviewed rating that is available through the organization. This designation is only given to attorneys whose practice of the law is recognized as being at the highest degree of legal skill and ethics. Mr. Kemp has earned multiple verdicts and settlements for his clients in the hundreds of millions of dollars, including two complex litigation matters against Teva involving Propofol for which he won verdicts totaling $667 million.

Mr. Kemp was named as a member of the Legal Elite by Nevada Business Magazine and was named as the Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2012 by the Nevada Justice Association. He is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the State Bar of Nevada, the Nevada Justice Association, and the Clark County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
