Angela M. Scafuri is an attorney and partner with Cadicina Law, located in Morristown, New Jersey.  Ms. Scafuri focuses her practice solely on family law, and she delivers invaluable counsel and support to clients throughout her area who are going through a divorce or have some other serious legal issue affecting their families.

Well-versed in collaborative law and other alternative dispute resolution techniques, Ms. Scafuri strives to help her clients negotiate favorable agreements regarding child custody and support, property division, alimony, and other related matters without having to resort to costly and stressful litigation. She currently serves as a court-appointed mediator for family law as well as other civil matters, and she holds her admission on the roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases and Civil Mediators for the Superior Court of New Jersey and other New Jersey courts.

Along with family law, Ms. Scafuri also has extensive experience with commercial litigation, which helps her better address her clients' business valuations and other related issues during divorce. Although a highly trained and effective negotiator and mediator, she will not hesitate to take her clients' matters to court when necessary to help them achieve the positive results they expect and deserve.

Recognized for her professionalism and service, Ms. Scafuri has earned accolades in both family law and family law mediation from The Best Lawyers in America and New Jersey Superlawyers. Moreover, she was selected for inclusion into the Top 40 Under 40 list by The National Trial Lawyers and the New Jersey Law Journal. A 1996 graduate of Colgate University, Ms. Scafuri obtained her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2000. The New Jersey State Bar Association admitted her to practice that same year, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Western District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

A leader in her field, Ms. Scafuri is the past president of the American Association for Justice's Family Law Section, where she continues to serve on its board. She is also the President of the Morris County Bar Foundation, and is the current second vice president of the Morris County Bar Association and once served as its treasurer and trustee. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Family Law Section.
