As a matrimonial law attorney in northern New Jersey since 1996, and as partner at Jacobs Berger, LLC., Holly M. Friedland takes her role in family law seriously. She is dedicated to protecting victims of domestic violence throughout Morris County, and has volunteered her services since 2006 as a member of the  Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project, which she now Chairs, helping women apply for restraining orders. Ms. Friedland also handles cases involving divorce,  mediation, appeals, adoption and collaborative law.

Ms. Friedland has been admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the New York State Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Participation in her community is important to Ms. Friedland. She currently serves as a panelist on the Matrimonial Early Settlement Program through the New Jersey Courts; she is a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Foundation; and she is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. In 2005, Ms. Friedland was admitted to provide mediation in family law cases in the Superior Court of New Jersey. She is one of only 60 attorneys in the State of New Jersey admitted to provide mediation in cases involving findings of domestic violence.  She is also a board member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

In 1995, Ms. Friedland earned her law degree from Western New England University School of Law after receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University in 1992. Because she understands the extensive emotional toll that these cases take on families, Ms. Friedland applies her 20+ years of experience to helping her clients get the results they need as quickly and efficiently as possible.
