Bruce L. Weiner is an attorney and partner at Rosenberg, Musso & Weiner, LLP, in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Weiner has several decades of experience practicing bankruptcy law, representing creditors and debtors in the state of New York. His clients include individual and corporate debtors, banks, creditor committees and trustees.

Over his time in practice, Mr. Weiner has handled thousands of bankruptcy cases with effective results. He appears before state and federal courts, and four of his cases were successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He is the author of numerous bankruptcy articles for various publications and former speaker at many conferences and seminars.

Mr. Weiner is passionate about giving back to his profession. In recognition of his efforts, the Brooklyn Volunteer Lawyers Project awarded him a gold certificate several years in a row. In 2004, the New York State Bar Association presented him with the president’s pro bono service award, and the Brooklyn Bar Association awarded him the Freda S. Nisnewitz Award for Community Service in 2005.

Mr. Weiner is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association’s bankruptcy committee. In addition, he is a member of the bankruptcy committee, and federal and commercial litigation sections of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Weiner graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. He holds a license to practice law in all New York state courts and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
