Barry N. Saltzman

Attorney Barry N. Saltzman is a partner at Pitta LLP. Mr. Saltzman serves the firm's New York, New York, and Albany, New York, locations and devotes his practice to employee relations law and labor law. He represents clients in matters involving discrimination, employment law, labor unions, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination and more.

Mr. Saltzman has several decades of legal experience and has litigated matters in a wide variety of courts. He received his bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University, located in New York, New York, and earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has been licensed to practice in New York since 1980.

Along with extensive litigation experience, Mr. Saltzman is also familiar with alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediation and arbitration. He has litigated and settled many cases over the course of his career in both state and federal courts.

Recognized for his legal knowledge, Mr. Saltzman is regularly sought out for his advice and counsel with complex issues such as acquisitions, sales, workforce reduction and other corporate matters and transactions. Before joining Pitta LLP, he served as a partner at various other law firms in the region, gaining valuable legal experience in the process.

Mr. Saltzman is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
