After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jon Carroll earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, where he was a Notes and Comments editor for the Campbell Law Review.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jon moved back home in September 2005 to join James, McElroy & Diehl, P.A. In February 2023, Jon transitioned to Gardner Skelton, PLLC. Jon currently practices complex civil and business litigation, construction and design defect litigation, contract disputes, disputes involving restrictive covenants and homeowners' associations, and real property lien enforcement/defense. Jon also advises general contractors and subcontractors on commercial and residential contract negotiations, risk management, and strategies for effective dispute resolution.
