With more than two decades of experience, Martin A. Ramey is a zealous personal injury attorney with CR Legal Team, LLP, located throughout North Carolina. Focusing on assisting the victims of personal injury, he stands up for plaintiffs in cases involving complex litigation, serious trucking and motor vehicle cases, mass torts, including pharmaceutical and medical device actions, wrongful death cases, and institutional sex abuse cases.
In 1998, Mr. Ramey joined Arizona State University and completed his bachelor’s degree in Spanish. Later, he enrolled in the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating with his doctorate in jurisprudence in 2002, which paved the way to pursuing his master’s in law at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He earned his master’s degree magna cum laude in 2009 with a concentration in health law, policy and bioethics.
Working with various law firms, Mr. Ramey was recognized with several awards and honors for his contributions to the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Devoting his practice exclusively to litigation, he is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and California. He took the first steps in personal injury law at prestigious law firms, where he closely interacted with clients in the resolution of their issues involving product liability, construction defects and complex business litigation.
Mr. Ramey has also published several articles on topics relevant to his field in many prestigious legal journals. Rated “Good” on Avvo, he has won settlements/verdicts worth millions of dollars for his clients, including a $140 million settlement for the sexual abuse victims of a high school teacher.
