Daniel J. Matusicky

Dan is an experienced civil litigator and trial attorney with exceptional negotiation skills and an unwavering reputation for delivering practical, real-world solutions for his clients.

He represents individuals and organizations (both plaintiffs and defendants) in various areas of civil litigation, including, but not limited to, business/commercial, construction, personal injury, trust and estate, employment, real estate, premises liability, defamation, and wrongful death.  Over the course of his years in law practice, he has successfully tried and settled many complex matters.

Prior to joining Arnold & Clifford LLP, Dan was an insurance defense attorney with Rohrbachers Cron Manahan Trimble Zimmerman Co. LPA. He represented multiple Fortune 100 insurance carriers and their insureds. Dan began his legal career as a Judicial Attorney for the Honorable Judges Dale A. Crawford and Patrick M. McGrath with the Ohio Court of Claims

After graduating cum laude from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, with bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and creative writing, Mr. Matusicky earned his law degree from Capital University Law School in Columbus. He graduated cum laude and was a member of the Order of the Curia. 

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Matusicky keeps his knowledge up to date and contributes to his community through participation in professional organizations. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Young Professionals Club and the New Albany Young Professionals. He has also participated in the Ohio Self-Insurers Association and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
