Rachel A. Sabo Friedmann

Rachel Sabo Friedmann is a founding partner of The Friedmann Firm LLC, where she represents employees in complex employment litigation. Her practice spans wage-and-hour (FLSA/collective actions), discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims, wrongful termination, FMLA/leave rights, equal pay, and severance/non-compete negotiations. Clients and colleagues value her clear communication, practical strategy, and tenacious advocacy.

In 2020, Rachel received the Louisville Slugger Award from the Central Ohio Association for Justice for “knocking it out of the park for justice,” recognizing her work in Oakley v. OSUWMC, a wage-and-hour matter that resulted in a $4,000,000 settlement benefitting thousands of healthcare workers. She was selected to the Ohio Super Lawyers list (2023–2026) and was named “Graduate of the Last Decade” (2023) by Capital University Law School. Rachel is active in the bar and her community. She served on the Women Lawyers of Franklin County board from 2013–2021 and as President (2019–2020), is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation (2019), and completed the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy (2017). She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Central Ohio Association for Justice, and the Ohio Association for Justice. Beyond the courtroom, she’s a sustaining member of the Junior League of Columbus and volunteers with Rescued Ohio, a foster-based dog rescue.
