Scott M. Rothman

Scott M. Rothman has developed a practice around real estate law and business law. He is a named partner in the firm Curley & Rothman LLC. From his office in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, he provides advice and litigates civil cases for clients throughout the greater Philadelphia area and the adjoining part of New Jersey. Whether litigating a dispute or managing a transaction, he handles cases involving title disputes, tax sales, financing, evictions, and residential and commercial leasing. His counsel supports people working through issues with property taxation, equitable relief, declaratory actions and foreclosures. Developers and investors can look to him to interpret zoning and land use regulations, and interact with authorities when seeking permits or dividing land. Mr. Rothman also litigates insurance claims, contract and construction disputes, and fraud recovery.

Mr. Rothman honed his understanding of real estate law while representing title insurance companies in the courtroom. Before practicing law, Mr. Rothman gained hands-on experience in the construction industry working for Habitat for Humanity as an assistant construction manager. His educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. He shares his legal insights as a lecturer at Villanova University School of Law and as a speaker at seminars for real estate professionals.

Admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts, Mr. Rothman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
