Alan E. Denenberg

Alan E. Denenberg is a civil rights attorney at Abramson & Denenberg, P.C., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Denenberg has over 30 years of experience and handles a wide variety of civil rights cases, including those involving police brutality and prison suicide. 

Additionally, Mr. Denenberg practices personal injury law, serving clients throughout the greater Philadelphia metropolitan region. In his personal injury practice, he represents plaintiffs in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, product liability and slip-and-fall accidents. 

Over the years, Mr. Denenberg has successfully argued on behalf of many victims of civil rights violations and people who have been injured due to the negligence of others. He is qualified to practice law before the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.

Mr. Denenberg graduated with honors from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree. He went on to graduate cum laude from Widener University Delaware Law School, where he served as note and comment editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and belonged to the Moot Court Honor Society and The International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi.

Along with serving his clients, Mr. Denenberg is an active member of his legal community. He belongs to the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the National Police Accountability Project. Dedicated to professional education, he has taught a class on advocacy skills for young lawyers for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
