Mary Agnes Hood Craig

Molly H. Craig is a partner at Hood Law Firm, LLC in Charleston, South Carolina and handles catastrophic injury cases nationally as lead defense counsel and has devoted her practice to trial work for almost 30 years. Ms. Craig is a Past President of the International Association of Defense Counsel, Past President of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association and Past President of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Charleston Chapter, Past President of Lawyers for Civil Justice, former member of the Board of Directors for DRI, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, and the Attorneys Committee for the National Center of State Courts. Ms. Craig has been recognized for inclusion in Chambers USA, listed in Best Lawyers in America and selected as one of South Carolina’s Top 25 Super Lawyers. Recently Ms. Craig was recognized by SC Best Lawyers as Products Liability Defense Lawyer of the Year, Benchmark's Top 250 Women in Litigation and Women Leaders in the Law. Molly was the recipient of the Gold Compleat Lawyer Award given by the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Association.  Ms. Craig was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster to the South Carolina Judicial Merit Selection Commission.  She was appointed National Coordinator for iCivics by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor (Ret.) and previously served as South Carolina’s State Ambassador for iCivics.
