Managing Partner and co-founder Mike Slack brings decades of experience as both an attorney and a licensed pilot, with a background as a NASA aerospace engineer. This technical expertise gives him a unique perspective in cases involving airplane and helicopter crashes. Mr. Slack is Board Certified in Aviation Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by only a small number of attorneys statewide, and holds the AV Preeminent peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting exceptional legal ability, ethical standards, and dedication to clients.

Partner John R. Davis leads the firm's class action and whistleblower practices, having spent most of his career working in and litigating cases before the U.S. Federal Courts. John focuses on complex litigation with a particular emphasis on consumer fraud, healthcare fraud, antitrust, environmental, and insurance matters. He has been honored in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Mass Tort Litigation and Class Actions since 2021, and was selected to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year from 2018 through 2022, recognized as the only Austin-based attorney in the Class Action and Mass Torts category during that period.
