Mr. Davis has litigated and counseled on a broad range of sophisticated matters, including securities fraud and white collar investigations, corporate governance disputes, and antitrust claims. He has also advised clients in environmental class action torts, executive compensation and corporate structural issues, construction and property torts, double derivative shareholder suits, and stranger‑owned life insurance (STOLI) investor litigation. In addition to contentious matters, he has handled commercial transactions and real estate matters that intersect with corporate strategy and risk management.
A committed scholar, Mr. Davis earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2015. While at Fordham, he served as an editor of the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law, was selected to intern for the Honorable Denny Chin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and received the Emmet J. McCormack Award for academic achievement in admiralty law as well as the Public Interest Student Leadership Award. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016.
Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Davis distinguished himself both athletically and in military service. He was a scholar‑athlete for Northern Illinois University’s men’s soccer program, earning the Academic All‑Conference Award and the All‑American Team Award. Prior to law school, he served as a captain and aviator in the United States Marine Corps, piloting the CH‑53E Sea Stallion and contributing to the planning of counterinsurgency operations for NATO Regional Command in southwest Afghanistan.
