Lennea M. Cannon

Lennea M. Cannon is a highly regarded and recognized attorney in the greater Houston metro area with more than a decade of experience. She is a partner at Cannon Law and focuses her practice solely on family law.

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2001, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Ms. Cannon obtained her Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law Houston in 2004. She was admitted to practice in the state of Texas the same year.

Board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, the cases Ms. Cannon has handled over the course of her eminent career include divorce, property enforcement, child custody and support, paternity, marital agreements, adoptions, high-asset estate property divisions and international Hague Convention matters. She also regularly acts as an ad litem attorney, advocating for the rights of children in matters affecting them.

Fighting hard to protect the rights of her clients, Ms. Cannon has successfully tried and mediated dozens of cases on behalf of them. For her impeccable client service, she was given a “Superb” rating on Avvo, and she won the Avvo Clients’ Choice award in 2017. A supporter of a variety of causes, Ms. Cannon contributes to her community through her pro bono work by partnering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in Houston.
