Details
A well-seasoned legal practitioner with close to two decades of experience, Kathleen H. Smith is an attorney and shareholder at Walsh Colucci Lubeley & Walsh PC in Virginia. Working out of the firm’s office in Arlington, she represents the people of Northern Virginia in matters concerning real estate transactions and developments.
Ms. Smith obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Virginia in 1997. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a project engineer for nearly a decade at one of Maryland's most prestigious construction firms. Later, in 2003, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from The George Washington University School of Law.
Working with a diverse range of clients and organizations, including developers, builders, hospitals and nonprofit organizations, Ms. Smith diligently assists them with acquisitions, sales contracts, real estate tax appeals, development agreements, loan negotiations and condominium formation and representation. With each transaction widely varying in nature, she understands how confusing it can get at times to understand the process thoroughly. She thereby maintains open communication with her clients and ensures to keep them informed.
