Throughout her career, Ms. Huff has navigated a diverse array of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support and more. Her work extends to modifications, appeals, protective orders, retirement orders, and crafting and negotiating agreements such as prenuptial and premarital agreements. Her unwavering devotion and tireless quest to secure positive outcomes for her clients remain constant.
A proud alumna of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ms. Huff has a B.A. degree in psychology and political science. She then pursued her passion for law, receiving her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law. Shortly thereafter, she was granted the privilege to practice law in Maryland and expanded her legal horizons to the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Ms. Huff remains deeply engaged with her legal community through active participation in various professional associations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Fairfax Bar Association and previously co-lead the Family Law Section. Her affiliations extend to the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the District of Columbia Bar, the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the Bar Association of Montgomery County.
Beyond these roles, Ms. Huff has contributed to the Fairfax Law Foundation and led the 2019 Color of Justice Program. She has mentored with the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center and continues to share her knowledge as a speaker and moderator at legal education seminars. Celebrated for her contributions and achievements, she was honored in The Best Lawyers in America list in 2024 and 2025.
Ms. Huff’s dedication and skills also earned her a spot on Arlington Magazine's “Top Attorneys” list in family law from 2021 through 2025. Virginia Business magazine recognized her talents too, featuring her on its Legal Elite list on numerous occasions. - Most paralegals regularly interact with attorneys and clients during their careers. - Most paralegals regularly assist attorneys with interacting with clients and gathering documents. An attorney can delegate any task normally performed by a lawyer to a paralegal (except those tasks prohibited by law), if the lawyer supervises the work. Paralegals can review and organize client files, conduct factual and legal research, prepare documents for legal transactions, and prepare documents for depositions, trials, etc. Paralegals are integral to teams providing legal services, including by promoting cost-efficiency. Some practices may involve more technology, but basic knowledge of available tools and best practice for security is necessary for all who collect documents from clients in a law practice.
