    Allan M. He is a Past President of the Trial Lawyers’ Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.  (“DC-TLA").  Mr. Siegel has dedicated his entire legal career to representing victims injured as a result of the negligence of others.  He has successfully tried and settled hundreds of cases in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. He also co-chaired the membership committee and served two years as the co-chairman of the education committee, planning, organizing, and moderating educational programs presented to other lawyers throughout the D.C. Metropolitan Area.  He has also been included in the 2019 and 2020 publications of Best Lawyers in America for the Washington DC metropolitan Area.  Mr. Siegel is an active member of The American Association for Justice (AAJ) and currently serves as DC-TLA’s delegate to that organization.  He currently serves on the Board of Governors of AAJ's Brain Injury Litigation Section and Trucking Litigation Groups, and on the Executive Committee of the Bus Litigation Group.    Mr. Siegel is a 1991 graduate of The George Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude.  He obtained his J.D. from The George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1994 where he graduated with honors.  He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

    • Mr. Siegel taught at a March 2014 DC-TLA seminar regarding how to plan and prepare video depositions for trial.  He was on a panel with other accomplished lawyers. 
    • In May, 2016, Mr. Siegel lectured at a seminar sponsored by the DC Bar, titled New and Unique Aspects of Handling an Automobile Case in the District of Columbia.    The course focused on many of the new rules and statutes which make practicing in D.C. unique.
    • In April 2016, Mr. Siegel lectured at the New Jersey Boardwalk Seminar on the issue of closing arguments. The New Jersey Association for Justice sponsors this seminar and invited accomplished lawyers from across the country to lecture.

    • In November, 2016 Mr. Siegel was invited to speak to New Jersey lawyers regarding accident reconstruction in motorcycle cases.

    Verdicts/Settlements:

    • In 2019 Mr. Siegel obtained a $240,000 settlement on behalf of a passenger in a vehicle that was struck head-on.   The client required surgery to repair her shoulder. , 2019
    • In 2019 Mr. Siegel obtained a $225,000 settlement on behalf of a woman who slipped and fell on ice, on Federal Government property.   The woman suffered a broken leg, and required surgery. , 2019
    • In 2019 Mr. Siegel obtained a $410,000 settlement on behalf of a pedestrian who was injured when a vehicle lost control and struck a street sign, causing the sign to be projected into her body.  The pedestrian suffered a herniated disk, and required surgery. , 2019
    • In 2019 Mr. Siegel obtained a $400,000 settlement on behalf of a woman who was struck by a transit bus.  This was the maximum recovery allowed by law.  The women suffered a broken leg.  , 2019
    • In 2019 Mr. Siegel obtained a $600,000 settlement on behalf of a woman who was entering a hotel when a metal bar fell off the door, and struck her in the head.   The woman suffered a mild traumatic brain injury, and required surgery to repair a pre-existing injury in her neck. , 2019
    • In 2020 Mr. Siegel obtained a $3.5 million settlement on behalf of a man who suffered a brain injury when a driver opened his car door into the path of his bicycle. , 2020
    • In 2018 Mr. Siegel obtained a settlement of $560,000 on behalf of a woman whose vehicle was struck in the rear. She required multiple neck surgeries, 2018
    • In 2018 Mr. Siegel obtained a settlement of $525,000 on behalf of a woman who was a passenger in a car whose tire blew out due to the negligence of an auto shop, 2018
    • In 2012 Mr. Siegel settled a wrongful death case for $1,750,000, which involved a defendant who crossed a double yellow line and collided with our client's father head-on. Mr. Siegel also received multiple successful verdicts in 2012, including a verdict for $175,000, which exceeded the Defendant's policy limits by $75,000. He also represented the family of one of the passengers who died in the June 2009 Metro crash. Mr. Siegel received a $612,000 verdict against DC-WASA on behalf of his client in the District of Columbia Superior Court. The case involved a an automobile collision. The client only had $10,000 in economic losses, 2012
    • In June 2015, Mr. Siegel settled a case arising out of a motorcycle collision for $4.8 million, 2015
    • In 2016, Mr. Siegel received an arbitration award of $471,000 on behalf of a woman who suffered a mild traumatic brain injury as a result of a car accident, 2016
    • In 2017 Mr. Siegel obtained a settlement of $850,000 on behalf of a client who suffered a herniated disk and a mild traumatic brain injury as a result of a rear end collision, 2017
    • In 2018 Mr. Siegel obtained a settlement of $350,000 on behalf of a woman whose vehicle was struck in the rear, causing her to suffer a ligament injury to her hand, requiring surgery, 2018
    • In March 2013, Mr. Siegel obtained a $780,000 verdict against METRO. The client only had $14,000 in medical expenses, 2013
    • In 2016, Mr. Siegel settled a case arising out of a tractor-trailer accident for $500,000, 2016
    • In 2017 Mr. Siegel obtained $500,000 on behalf of the family of an 83 woman who died after slipping and falling on ice  , 2017
    • In 2018 Mr. Siegel obtained a settlement of $300,000 on behalf of a woman who slipped and fell at a grocery store on water that had leaked from a freezer.  The woman fractured her ankle, and required surgery, 2018
    • In September 2013, Mr. Siegel settled a wrongful death case for $1,965,000. The case involved a Defendant who ran off the road and struck and killed a man who was walking on the grass. The decedent was survived by a wife, 2 minor children, and his mother and father. This was the second wrongful death settlement by Mr. Siegel within a 90 day period. The amount of the other settlement is confidential, 2013
    • In April, 2013, Mr. Siegel obtained a verdict of $450,000 verdict against Greyhound Bus Lines, Inc. Plaintiff had approximately $50,000 in medical expenses. The jury awarded approximately $400,000 for pain and suffering, 2013
    • In 2017 Mr. Siegel settled a case for $900,000 on behalf of a man who suffered a mild traumatic brain injury after his vehicle was struck in the rear, 2017
