Matthew Edwards

Matthew Edwards, the principal attorney at Ain & Bank, P.C., in Washington, D.C., brings a dynamic approach to matrimonial law, handling cases that involve intricate financial structures and family-run enterprises, along with challenging custody disputes. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Georgia in 2003, Mr. Edwards earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2008 and was admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., in 2010. Honored by Best Lawyers in 2020, he is actively involved in the legal community, serving on The District of Columbia Bar Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee and previously chaired the Litigation Community of The District of Columbia Bar. He is also part of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Edwards dedicates time as a family law mentor at The District of Columbia Bar Advice & Referral Clinic, offering guidance to individuals representing themselves in family law and domestic violence cases.
