J. Michael Dady is the founding partner of Dady & Gardner, P.A., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Dady is a prominent franchise attorney and represents franchisees, dealers and distributors throughout the country. 

Mr. Dady has over 45 years of legal experience and is consistently recognized as a top attorney within the franchise industry. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in many significant franchise cases and successfully litigated complex cases on behalf of dealers and franchisees. 

Honoring his accomplishments, the Franchise Times has included Mr. Dady on its list of the top 100 franchise lawyers in the United States. He is also listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The publication Minnesota Lawyer named him one of its 10 “Attorneys of the Year” in 2000.

In 1971, Mr. Dady earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He holds licenses to practice law in Minnesota and South Dakota and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
