Admitted to practice before all Nevada state courts since 2004, Mr. Schwarz is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 9th and Federal Circuits.
Mr. Schwarz has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in his more than 15 years of being a trial attorney. His caseload has encompassed trademark and other intellectual property infringements, breach of contract allegations, commercial landlord-tenant disputes and general business matters such as shareholder and partner proceedings. Mr. Schwarz has been able to obtain positive results for his clients through both jury verdicts and favorable settlements that he has been able to negotiate out of court with opposing parties and their legal counsel. This has resulted in a great deal of recognition from his fellow members of the bar, including a “Superb” peer-review rating through Avvo. In addition, Desert Companion Magazine, which is published by the local National Public Radio affiliate, has included him in its annual "Top Lawyers" list.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Schwarz attended Saint Louis University and received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in 1998. After serving as a graduate research assistant at the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois, he ultimately decided to pursue a legal education at the University of Illinois College of Law. While he was there, Mr. Schwarz was the administrative editor of the school’s Journal of Law, Technology, and Policy before being awarded his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2004.
