Founded in 2008 and based in New York City, Fitapelli & Schaffer, LLP, has recovered tens of millions of dollars for their employment law clients throughout the state of New York. Co-founder Joseph Fitapelli is nationally recognized for his work advocating for employees in their class action claims for wage and hour violations. Some representative matters include a $15.6 million award on behalf of personal bankers at a well-known financial institution, $4.2 million on behalf of exotic dancers who were working at New York City gentlemen's clubs, and nearly $3 million on behalf of tipped restaurant workers.
