Earning his law degree from Columbia Law School in 1989, Mr. Macedo was admitted to practice in New York the following year. Since then, he has been admitted to practice in the District of Columbia; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western districts of New York; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin; the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. 

As a law student, Mr. Macedo was the managing editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and the president of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics summa cum laude from The Catholic University of America, where he was president of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law Society and recipient of the Clyde Cowan Award.
