Mitchell J. Birzon is the managing partner of Birzon & Associates, a Smithtown, New York, law firm devoted to health care and corporate litigation. Representing medical practices, physicians, therapists, home health agencies and affiliated medical groups, he brings more than two decades of courtroom and regulatory experience to complex disputes and transactional matters. Committed to service within the profession and the community, Mr. Birzon has served three terms as chairman of the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Health and Hospital Law Committee and has been appointed to the SCBA Grievance Committee. He has contributed pro bono time recognized by the SCBA and has held board positions with Gurwin Geriatric Center, Long Island Adolescent & Family Services, Syosset Senior Daycare Center and Harbor Country Day School.
