Mitchell J. Birzon

Attorney Mitchell J. Birzon is the managing partner of Birzon and Associates in Smithtown, New York. He has also served an appointment on the organization's grievance committee, and he routinely counsels other attorneys in his area regarding their clients' health care law-related needs.

A selfless lawyer, Mr. Birzon regularly volunteers his time and services to those less fortunate in his community, and he received recognition from the Suffolk County Bar Association for his exemplary pro bono contributions. He also serves on the boards of the Gurwin Geriatric Center, Long Island Adolescent & Family League Services, and Syosset Senior Daycare Center, among other civic and charitable organizations in his area.  

A 1975 graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Birzon obtained his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in 1978. He holds his license to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York as well as the District of Columbia.
