John Flood

With nearly two decades of experience providing efficacious legal representation in the areas of employment and labor law, and business law, John Flood leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit of giving his clients the peace of mind they deserve. At Flood Law LLC in Rockville, Maryland, he serves residents throughout the surrounding region, as well as in Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

Mr. Flood completed his undergraduate studies in 1990, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in history and pre-law from the Oklahoma Christian University, and went on to receive his Juris Doctor in 1993 from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. With a passion for absorbing as much legal knowledge as possible, he attended the Georgetown University Law Center and earned his LL.M. degree with honors in 2002.

A stalwart champion for his clients’ goals, Mr. Flood fights tooth and nail to help them move past their legal woes and onto better opportunities in their futures. His prior experience serving in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps – including holding the position of Major – he understands pressure situations, and his shrewd legal acumen keeps him ready to take on challenges of maximal complexity with relative ease. Within his legal community, Mr. Flood holds close affiliation with the American Bar Association, where he is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
